After a couple of months now with your Spartan 20 let me say thank you for such a straight, honest and ultimately performant product! I've always tried to get my listening chain as down to earth as I can, down to where devices disappear behind the music and out of the mind.
SPARTAN 20 in Michael's system
The Spartan 20 blends in perfectly. I cannot describe how it sounds because it doesn't. Job done :). However, it also showed me that my Grado cartridge by no means qualifies against the backdrop of neutral playback. My existing VM95SH and eventually a MP-500 to the rescue...

System sounds fabulous. Very transparent, musical and engaging. The noise floor is much quieter than the MC Pro. Without a record playing at the 62db setting on the phono-stage the amplifier volume can reach nearly maximum before any gain roar is heard via the speakers at all.
LO PRO in Alun's setup
The Homeplug pulsing interference when the system is first booted from cold has totally disappeared. Part of me thinks that I can also detect a tad more bass definition. Very pleased so far…

My entire audio chain is new – from the turntable and Concorde Music Black cartridge to the Blue Jeans LC2 phono cables – but I'm already hugely impressed and want to share my experience.
Mark's new setup
I'm struck by its wider soundstage, pinpoint imaging, and exceptional clarity. My record collection, mostly pre-1980s, sounds rejuvenated and lively with the MM Pro, even before engaging the LF X-Feed.

Your MC Pro is now fully integrated into my vinyl playback system and I could not be happier. Super clean and quiet and I’m loving spinning vinyl every day since I got it hooked up.
Deon's MC PRO
I used to be obsessed with cartridge loading. I bought a phonostage with all the "bells and whistles" costing twice as much and returned it after receiving your MC Pro. I love spending time outdoors so I’m holding you accountable for turning me into a recluse!
Jokes aside, thank you so much. I’ll be keeping a close eye on your future developments to to see how you improve your phonostages…if even possible?
Deon, Fort Lauderdale
I have been playing records for three days and I wanted to let you know how very pleased I am with the MM Pro.
MM PRO MKII in Douglas's setup
I can say without exaggeration, that I was astonished with first record I played with the clarity and dynamics of the MM Pro and ND7 combination. You have created something remarkable.

Just to let you know the Spartan 5 is sounding great. My turntable is so quiet now that until the music starts I keep thinking I’ve selected the wrong input!
SPARTAN 5 in Michael's setup
The mono switch is fantastic, my old Stones Decca singles sound great, and my fake stereo Bo Diddley & Otis Redding LPs now sound like perfect punchy mono pressings!

The blue S15 arrived today. Looks great. Won't have an opportunity to listen until tomorrow.
Blue SPARTAN 15 MKII
It's solved my problem and works well into my line level preamp...sounds great even when using a very basic and ancient MM (and the ancient Sondek).
SPARTAN 15 MKII in David's setup
Very easy on the ear too. So quiet, no hum or hiss. A lot of phono stages I've tried recently have a harshness or tonal balance that makes them difficult to listen to for any length of time.
David, Hampshire
I just wanted to say how very pleased I am with the phono stage I purchased from you recently. The Spartan 15 Mk2 is just so good, I am very impressed with it in my system.
John's SPARTAN 15 MKII
I have a Pro-Ject Debut Pro B turntable, which is fitted with a Pick it Pro Balanced MM cartridge. Whilst I cannot yet take advantage of the balanced output, the standard phono output is doing a splendid job via the Spartan.
From the phono stage the signal then goes into my Linn Klimax DSM/1 analogue input and then onto the Lejonklou Tundra power amp and the Q-Acoustics Concept 500 speakers. The music sounds quite splendid and I am sure that your little phono stage is a big part of that.
SPARTAN 15 MKII connected to Linn Klimax
I have used it in mono for some older jazz albums and have used the 100Hz attenuated setting for some older stereo albums too, all to good effect. Standard in stereo for most albums though and it’s great. One day I may come back to you for a pro stage so that I can utilise the balanced input. Until then, I am going to enjoy using the Spartan 15.

Just hooked everything up. There must have been something wrong with my M2Tech digital phono preamp. Your MC Pro is stupid quiet in comparison.
MC PRO in Scott's setup
Haven’t played with the LF XFeed yet. Bravo. Unless you think up some other brilliant feature I’m done with phono preamps.
Scott, New York
I now have it set up and it works flawlessly. It is sublime. The clarity. The details. The quietness. Records are now a pleasure to play.
SPARTAN 5 in Marc's setup
My only criticism is the red LED is too bright, but that’s easily fixed by covering the light with tape and placing a solid object in front.
